I have no pretty linked list of cute things that I want for Christmas. I am far from home, so getting my family to come all the way out here is pretty much aces for me as far as Christmas goes. Other than that all I really want is Christmas cookies. (Trying to be a real adult has made me an allrecipes.com addict)
Cranberry and orange cookies were a total hit last year, absolutely amazing. (OK, I might be obsessed with cranberries. Just say no to UTIs, people.)
Delicious chai tea flavored cookies my mom and I made a few years ago. I plan on trying my hand at those again. (Her recipe was from a magazine, but these look pretty similar)
Russian tea cakes are always a good choice. Perfect to keep in a tin and sneak a little bite-sized morsel of delicious whenever the mood strikes. Which is often, if you’re me.
Oh, also I would like the perfect pair of mostly flat, suede-y, neutral-colored, slouchy, mid-calf boots with cute buckles/straps but I have yet to find them. And more plaid/flannel. I’ve got to fit in with these Northern Californians somehow.
